How does this affect High Altitude Skating Club Volunteers?

High Altitude Skating Club is committed to following all SkateSafe rules and regulations. You can learn more about SafeSkate here. You don’t need to be club member to volunteer at a club event; however, many volunteers will need to complete SafeSport Training and a background check through USFS. Checkout the chart below to see if you need to complete these tasks.

How do I take SafeSkate Training & complete a background check with USFS?

  1. Go to the U.S. Figure Skating Website – www.usfigureskating.org
  2. Click on the “Login” button in the top right corner
  3. Below the “Find a Club” button click “Non-member? Create an Account”
  4. Choose “I am a volunteer”
  5. Fill out required information
